Gyugin

Hi, do you remember one of  my older posts about Gyugin? That is a good yakiniku restaurant. That time, I went there for lunch and I said, "I want to go there again at dinner time." This time, my wish has come true. I went there at dinner time!

At first, we ordered the special set (3,200 yen) which is 8 kinds of rare beef (Top picture). The minimum order of this set is two servings, so we ordered two sets (6,400 yen). All of the beef is Yamagata-beef and they serve A5 grade beef. A5 grade beef is the highest quality beef. A staff person said "Please eat with salt and wasabi, don't use yakiniku sauce." We ate it that way and the taste was really good! Maybe that was the most delicious beef I've ever eaten.

I also ate some other dishes, all of which were delicious. I was really satisfied. I like it there, but the prices are expensive. This time, I went there with another person and the bill was 15,000 yen. I think  you need a budget of 5,000~8,000 yen for one person when you go there. I recommend you bring your family on your family's birthday or other celebration because, it's a good place to delight somebody.

The Boy and The Beast

Hello everyone. Long time no see from the last post. I had a nice time in this summer. I went to cinema several times, during the summer. 

Today, I want to talk about the one of the movie in some movies that I watched. The title is "Bakemono-no Ko（The Boy and the Beast）". It was showed from Toho Company. The movie director is Hosoda Mamoru. I really like his movies because the pictures are beautiful and stories are good. This is the latest his movie.

My impression
 I thought, the story was satisfactory and I want to watch it again when I have child in the future. I was moved by it. I felt pictures are so nice! Because they are described in handwriting in detail. 

This movie is now showing on cinema. I recommend it if you've never seen and you become interested in it. And I really recommend it to fathers who had son. (If you are mother, I recommend the other movie "Wolf Children")

Strayer's Chronicle

Hello everyone. Today's topic is latest Japanese movie. The title is "Straiyer's Chronicle". It was showed in June 27th. My favorite two actors are appear in this movie, Okada Masaki and Sometani Shouta. That is one of reason why I chose it. And another reason is the main characters have super natural power because they were made from genetic experience. I like the story of person with supernatural power.

The characters are fight with their power for each purpose. One group want to revenge to geneticists before they die, and another group try to stop and save them.

I think the story is acceptable, but not great. The battle scene is nice. I was excited. I think some people feel it is boring, but some people like it. In addition the story, Okada Masaki and Sometani Shouta's acting is nice! If you are interested in it, please go to cinema.

Asadori

Hello everyone. Today's review is a nice kamameshi restaurant, Asadori in Asakusa. My parents took me there for my mother's birthday. 

Asadori is located next to Nakamise Street. It's a restaurant that specializes in kamameshi. Kamameshi is Japanese rice that's cooked in a small pot. Kamameshi takes about 30 minutes to serve, because it is prepared after we order it. While waiting for our Kamameshi, we ate other dishes: yakitori (chicken) and iwa-gaki (oyster). The yakitori's taste was nice seasoned. And the iwa-gaki were bigger than I've ever seen. They were direct from Hiroshima Prefecture, which is a famous place for producing oysters. The taste was good and the texture was creamy. I love it.

Finally, the kamameshi was served to us. I ordered the salmon kamameshi and my parents ordered sea urchin and crab. Bottom's photo is with salmon. Every kamameshi was delicious and we had a nice time.

The prices are a little bit expensive. If you go there, you need to be ready to pay about 3~5,000 yen per person. But the taste and atmosphere were really nice. If you don't have enough money, I recommend you go there at lunch time. You can eat nice bowl of rice cheaper than at dinner time.

First post of this year! -ONE PIECE-

Hi, everyone! I'm writing this blog after three months. This post is my first post of the new school year. Today, I'll introduce a Japanese comic One Piece. I've introduced it in this blog before, so please check the 8th post if you don't know about it. I'm going to introduce the latest comic, Volume 77. It was published on April 3 from Shu-Ei Sha. The price is 400 yen plus tax. This time, I was especially moved after reading it, so I want you to know and read it too. If you don't want to know the contents of story, please stop reading this post, as there are spoilers. 
 
The outline of Volume 77

In this comic, most of story is the back story of Trafalgar Law and Corazon. Law is a main character of this chapter and Corazon is a person who helped him. 

 

Law had a serious illness and Corazon tried to save his life. Finally, Corazon succeeded in helping Law, but he was killed by enemies. Then Law tried to avenge his death.

 

 

My impressions

 

This story was so sad, it made me cry. I was especially moved by phrases that Corazon said. The phrases were, "I want you to remember me with a smile when you think of me someday, so I'll die with a smile." Probably, I couldn't translate it well. I was really moved by the way he dies. Most of the characters are smiling when they die in One Piece, I always cry when I read it. Not only this story, but also other stories are such nice emotional stories, so this is my favorite comic.

 

I want you to buy or borrow it from someone if you are interested in it, and if you become a fan of One Piece, I'll be so happy.

Dining Bar-uguisu-

The end of last year, I went to a wine bar uguisu. This is one of the dining bars in Sangenchaya. I had never been to a dining bar before, so I was a little bit nervous. 

I thought this was a large bar before I went because it was a popular dining bar on the Internet, but there are only fifteen tables and five counter seats and only three staff. It's a not large bar. Uguisu gives a high priority to wine and vegetables. 

The staff has a lot of knowledge of wine. Before we ordered, the waitress explained about the red wines, white wines and sparkling wines that customers often want. Then I ordered sparkling wine. I drank two kinds of sparkling wine. Both were more mellow than any wine I've ever drunk. The dishes were also nice! We ordered several dishes, and we especially liked the Sauteed Duck. It came with many kinds of vegetables that I've never eaten. We sat at a counter seat, so the staff explained about the vegetables. He said "Today is the last business day of this year, and we'll take vacation for some time from tomorrow, so we used more ingredients than usual." We were so lucky!

For desert, we ordered Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake. The Cheesecake had a rich cheese taste. I think it was a good match with the wine. The Strawberry Shortcake was fluffy sponge cake and had a cream taste. Both were delicious.

Uguisu is a nice dining bar. The wine and dishes were delicious, and the interior and atmosphere were good. Above all the staff were polite. I want to go there again, and then I'll try other wine and dishes. There are not so many seats, so I recommend making a reservation if you want to go there.
